Flint Street Nativity
About
An adult-cast comedy nativity play in which grown-ups play seven-year-olds and their parents, with carols reimagined, running three evenings.
Miss Horrocks' class of seven-year-olds is about to perform their nativity play at Flint Street Junior School for proud mams and dads and the occasional social worker. Squabbles arise when Gabriel wants to play Mary, the Star grumbles he is not a proper star like they have at NASA, and Herod keeps waving to his mam and dad. Both the children and their parents are played by adults in this funny, warm-hearted take on an annual rite of passage in British primary schools, featuring traditional Christmas carols as you've never heard them before.
