Connected Conversations: Opportunity Creation in Cumbria

A free facilitated 90-minute walk-and-talk in Carlisle exploring how to open pathways for 16–21 year olds through learning, skills and good work.

This facilitated walk-and-talk brings together people from education, health, local authorities, business and community life to discuss how young people aged 16–21 can access the relationships, support and opportunities to move towards a positive future. Participants share experiences in pairs and small groups while walking, exploring where pathways between education, training and work connect or fall apart, particularly where barriers like health, caring responsibilities, disability or rural transport apply. The session runs 90 minutes, with doors at 12:30 PM, and is for ages 16+.
