About

An illuminated season-finale event with vintage trams, live music, site performances and an evening lantern trail.

The National Tramway Museum site is illuminated for the season finale, with vintage trams running after dark, music from local concert bands and performances around the grounds. The bill includes the Victorian Re-enactment Group, Dr Melforde’s Travelling Curiosities and Wonders Show and magic shows in the Exhibition Hall. Handmade Productions created the Enchanted Lantern Trail, which opens at 4:30pm on both dates; the trail closes at 7:30pm on Saturday and 6:30pm on Sunday, half an hour before the main event. Annual passes do not cover this premium event. Saturday hours are 2–8pm (last tram 7:30pm); Sunday hours are 2–7pm (last tram 6:30pm).
