Folk singer-songwriter Catch the Sparrow performs new work in a duo set with folk singer and fiddle player Sam Baxter.

Catch the Sparrow, the project of singer-songwriter Suze Terwisscha van Scheltinga, plays a duo set at The Cumberland Arms with folk singer and fiddle player Sam Baxter. Originally trained as a jazz vocalist in the Netherlands, she became a fixture on the Newcastle folk scene before relocating to London in 2024. The set will feature new work, and her upcoming single 'When the lost god speaks', commissioned by the National Trust, is released on 16 October 2026.
