Winter Concerts | The Anchor Band
About
A pay-what-you-feel indoor big band concert by the 17-piece Anchor Big Band, playing swing and jazz classics at Bingley Arts Centre.
The Anchor Big Band, a long-established 17-piece Yorkshire band formed over 25 years ago, opens the 2027 Winter Concert Series at Bingley Arts Centre. Their two-hour set mixes classic swing, jazz and dance band favourites associated with leaders such as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Ted Heath, alongside later arrangements for listeners and dancers. The concert is part of a monthly indoor series funded by Bingley Town Council, run as Pay What You Feel events with donations supporting the Arts Centre.
