The Máirtín O’Connor Trio

The Máirtín O’Connor Trio bring three masters of Irish traditional music to Hammersmith for an evening of accordion, fiddle, banjo, guitar and song.

Accordionist Máirtín O’Connor, All-Ireland champion fiddle and banjo player Cathal Hayden, and multi-instrumentalist Séamie O’Dowd perform together as the Máirtín O’Connor Trio. Formed in Sligo in the early 2000s, the trio has toured internationally, released the albums Crossroads and Going Places, and toured with Tommy Emmanuel as well as accompanying Christy Moore. Their live sets move from the heart of the Irish tradition to its outer limits, blending instrumental virtuosity with an adventurous spirit. Doors open at 7pm with the performance starting at 7.30pm.
