About

Harsheen Kaur explores colonial furniture, bodily freedom and refuge through textile work, altered furniture, photography and oral histories.

The exhibition reworks rigid Anglo-Indian furniture through charpai-inspired forms, suspended nets and lace, contrasting colonial domestic discipline with tactile rest and play. The Constance Howard Gallery has no step-free access; contact the gallery to arrange access. Current billed names: Harsheen Kaur.
