The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town

A stage adaptation of Spike Milligan and Ronnie Barker's Victorian Jack the Ripper parody, presented by Hambledon Productions at the Victoria Theatre.

Hambledon Productions stages a newly adapted version of The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town, written by Spike Milligan and Ronnie Barker and adapted by John Hewer. The comedy is a Jack the Ripper parody set in Victorian England, where Inspector Corner of the Yard and Sergeant Bowles hunt a raspberry-blowing phantom stalking the upper classes. Marking 50 years since the original 1976 broadcast immortalised by The Two Ronnies, the play features surreal absurdism, puns and quick-fire wordplay.
