A day of butoh movement and improvisation led by visiting artists.
The workshop moves through morning work with MUTSUMINEIRO, an afternoon session with Seiji Tanaka and a final session with Mitsuyo Uesugi assisted by Makiko Takamatsu. A 45-minute lunch break and a short afternoon break divide the 10:30–17:30 day. Adults 18+ are welcome without prior butoh experience; a small number of bursary places may be requested from the festival.
