Beyond the Bubbles: Ghosts, Games & Fortune-Telling the Sunlight Soap Way

A 20-minute lunchtime talk at Port Sunlight Museum exploring palmistry, parlour games and ghost stories from the village's Sunlight Soap-era past.

Part of the Heritage Highlights series of bite-sized lunchtime talks, this 20-minute session looks at the curious side of Port Sunlight's history. It covers palmistry the Sunlight Soap way, conjuring tricks and parlour amusements drawn from the Sunlight Year Book, and a selection of village ghost stories. The talks are delivered by the Port Sunlight Village Trust team inside the museum and are included with museum admission, which also grants 12 months of free return visits.
