About
A paired medical history evening on plague epidemiology and the development of anatomical wax models in medical education.
Professor Christos Lynteris examines how rats came to be understood as plague carriers, placing that account within the Third Plague Pandemic. Dr Roberta Ballestriero discusses the contribution of wax anatomical models to medical education from the seventeenth century onward. The programme is at Apothecaries’ Hall and welcomes all attendees.
