Developing Painting and Drawing Skills

A painting and drawing class at Sunningwell School of Art helping students build skills and confidence through tutor-led sessions and self-initiated projects.

This class helps individuals discover their own creative language through painting and drawing, building confidence and new skills. Each 10-week term is split into two sections: the first focuses on techniques and approaches to art-making in sessions led by tutor Ali, while the second sees each student undertake a self-initiated, theme-based project set by Ali. The emphasis is on playful experimentation and gentle risk-taking in an encouraging atmosphere, with students learning from the tutor and from each other. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience.
