The Youth Orchestra performs Britten’s Soirées musicales alongside Edmund Thornton Jenkins’s Rhapsody No. 1, “Charlestonia”, and Gershwin’s An American in Paris. The concert opens the Youth Company season and continues the group’s celebration of Britten.
