Winter Trail - the Story of Hamish and Owl

A free self-guided winter story trail along the Boardwalk at Wicken Fen, following the tale of Hamish and Owl until 10 January.

Visitors follow the Boardwalk trail and uncover the story of Hamish and Owl one page at a time, meeting colourful characters with surprises around every corner. The trail celebrates friendship, compassion and the wonders of nature and is aimed at families and visitors of all ages. It runs daily from 10am to 4pm until 10 January, starting at the Visitor Centre, and the Boardwalk is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. In frosty or very windy weather the Boardwalk may close for safety reasons.
