About
Mat Jones performs Dickens' A Christmas Carol as a one-man show, using Dickens' original reading script, at Hitchin Town Hall.
Mat Jones returns to Hitchin Town Hall with a one-man performance of A Christmas Carol, drawn directly from Charles Dickens' original public reading script. With no adaptation or reinterpretation, a single performer uses voice and presence to bring Scrooge's office, Fezziwig's party, the Cratchit family and the spirits to life. The show has been praised by reviewers for its storytelling and authenticity.
