Jazz Jam with Stratos

Resident jazz band Stratos hosts their weekly Thursday jam night at Grow's Hackney Wick canalside venue, opening the second set to guest musicians.

Stratos, Grow's resident jazz band led by Mercury Prize-nominated bassist Rio Kai, hosts their long-running Thursday jazz night. The band — Rio Kai on bass, Dom Pusey on saxophone, Mike De Souza on guitar and Zoe Pascal on drums — plays two sets exploring classic and contemporary jazz. After the first set the jam opens up to visiting jazz musicians, who can contact Stratos on Instagram to take part; entry is free for jammers. The first set takes place outside, with table bookings moved inside in bad weather.
