About
Parisian singer-accordionist Fifi la Mer and Oliver Wilby perform a show of French music from 1880–1970 at Peppers, West Wales Arts Centre.
Fifi la Mer, a Parisian singer and accordionist, joins clarinet and tenor saxophone player Oliver Wilby for a show celebrating the golden era of French music from 1880 to 1970. The programme includes songs associated with Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Django Reinhardt and Serge Gainsbourg, interspersed with tales of life in Paris across that period. The duo have toured the show widely, including a sell-out run at Ronnie Scott's.
