Free Exhibition Launch of 'Water' from Ode to Them and Theatreship

Free opening night of WATER, a group exhibition by 20 emerging artists aboard Theatreship, celebrating Ode to Them's second birthday.

Ode to Them marks its second birthday with WATER, the first group exhibition presented with Theatreship, aboard the ship at South Quay. Twenty emerging artists work across a variety of mediums around the theme of water — its links to memory, identity and emotion, and its power to connect, transform and inspire. The launch evening runs 7:30pm to 11:30pm with art, conversation and community; the venue opens at 2pm for drinks, preceded by a series of films by divergent filmmakers, 'Refraction', curated by ODE and Theatreship following an open call. The event is all ages, though the historic ship has no step-free access into the theatre space.
