A Christmas Carol
About
Dickens Theatre Company's acclaimed adaptation of A Christmas Carol, with Dickens and his tour manager playing Scrooge and 30-plus characters, plays four performances at Stamford Corn Exchange.
Dickens Theatre Company returns for its 11th year with this staging of A Christmas Carol, part of its Revision on Tour programme of classic texts for students and literature lovers. The premise has Charles Dickens and his tour manager George Dolby forced to perform the tale themselves when the rest of the cast is stranded on a train, portraying Scrooge and over 30 other characters. Directed by Ryan Philpott with music by Paul Higgs, the production is recommended for ages 8+, and matinee performances include a free 20-minute post-show Q&A with the cast.
