Imagine - Lennon

Tyson Kelly leads a ninety-minute John Lennon tribute with a five-piece band. The set covers Lennon's solo career and key Beatles-era songwriting, moving from Please Please Me to Double Fantasy, with stage stories and songs associated with both his solo work and Lennon-McCartney catalogue.

Tyson Kelly performs as John Lennon in a ninety-minute tribute, backed by a five-piece band. The programme is built around Lennon's songwriting rather than a straightforward Beatles hits set: it traces material from Please Please Me through ten years of solo releases to Double Fantasy, alongside selected B-side songs. The setlist reaches into both the Lennon-McCartney catalogue and Lennon's own work, while Kelly introduces stories about the songs and the career behind them. The show is framed as an intimate celebration of his music rather than a documentary.
