About

Mairi Cowieson leads weekly 45-minute music and movement sessions for children aged two to five and an accompanying adult. The autumn term uses musical theatre themes from Wizard of Oz, then Scrooge, building confidence, musicality, coordination and concentration.

Participants attend a short weekly class built around musical theatre themes, designed for children aged two to five with an adult. Mairi Cowieson, a professional West End performer and director, leads the sessions. Each term links songs and movement to a show: the autumn block draws on The Wizard of Oz, while the later block uses Scrooge. Activities aim to build confidence, musicality, coordination and concentration, and younger siblings can join, with babies under six months admitted free.
