London Jazz Festival: Awen Ensemble & CyVanma CynVamol

Part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2026: an evening gig from alternative folk-jazz band Awen Ensemble and trio CyVanma CynVamol.

Two acts share a night as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2026 at the London Welsh Centre. Awen Ensemble, whose name means 'poetic inspiration' in Welsh, blend modal and spiritual jazz with British and Irish folk influences, performing both vocal-led and instrumental works exploring folkloric heritage, landscape and emotion. CyVanma CynVamol is a collaborative trio of vocalist Emma Davidson, bassist Huw V Williams and flautist Gail Tasker, offering drones and explorations in a modern interpretation of Welsh identity. Doors open at 5.30pm with the gig starting at 7pm.
