Messenger Sound System

Scotland's long-running roots reggae sound system night brings its custom-built bass-heavy rig to the Bongo Club.

Messenger Sound System, Scotland's original roots and culture rasta reggae sound system, has been playing on its own custom-built bass-heavy rig since 1987. The night delivers foundation tunes and fresh dubs across rockers, steppers and rub-a-dub styles, described by the crew as roots reggae rocking with vibes alive. Sessions run late into the night on the club's own sound.
