Next Steps - Kids' Cycling Skills Session

A one-hour coached cycling skills session for children who can already ride without stabilisers, run by Swindon Cycle Campaign.

This follow-up to the 'Ditch the Stabiliser' sessions is for children who can already cycle independently on two wheels. Led by an experienced cycling coach and volunteers, the fun session on the main cycle track covers bike handling basics such as starting, stopping, gears and manoeuvring. Bikes and helmets can be borrowed or brought along, and helmets are compulsory; sessions go ahead in wet weather unless a weather warning is in place.
