Flowing from the Fells

An Abbot Hall exhibition drawing on the Lakeland Arts collection to explore the Lake District's rivers and streams, including a new commission by Jessica Warboys.

Flowing from the Fells presents selected works from the Lakeland Arts collection exploring the rivers and streams that shape the region's landscape, our connections to them and the local stories rooted in them. Modern and classic works are brought into dialogue across the exhibition. With support from the Contemporary Art Society, it also features a newly commissioned artwork by Jessica Warboys responding to the Duddon River and the west Cumbrian landscape. The exhibition runs daily from 10am to 4pm.
