About
Mathilde Girard's documentary essay Medea Research traces the mythic figure of Medea through Heiner Müller's Medea-Material, asking what she reveals about us.
French filmmaker Mathilde Girard directs this 57-minute documentary essay, an investigation into the figure of Medea and what she can still teach us. The search crystallises around Heiner Müller's text Medea-Material, with voices lent to the character in the hope that, this time, she might finally be heard.
