Uncanny Waters: Weathering
About
A group exhibition bringing costume, photography, installation and live work into a queer ecological exploration shaped by the Thames and its tributaries.
Growing from Heads Bodies Legs’ Uncanny Waters project, this group exhibition explores relationships between bodies and environments through queer ecology, folklore, archives and salvaged materials. It brings together sculptural environments, artists’ films, costumes, photography and live work, alongside conversations and workshops. Exhibitors include Arkem Mark Walton, bug!, E.M. Parry, Fanny Bleach, George Cox, Honor Bathurst, K.A. Harper, Kate Coss, Lu Firth, Medusa Has Been, Meg Jordan and Ray Malone. Access provisions include step-free entry, captions, creative audio description and a quiet space.
