Liverpool Audio Tour: Below The Liver Birds

A guided audio tour exploring the hidden working history and social hierarchy behind Liverpool's famous waterfront.

This audio tour takes listeners beneath the surface of Liverpool's celebrated waterfront, revealing it as a working hierarchy rather than the empire of merchants it appears to be. The experience covers the lives of clerks at Pier Head and the sailors whose labour underpinned the city's trade. It is presented at The Cavern Club in Bristol, starting at 12:00 on Saturday 24 October 2026.
