Hexham Lantern Parade 2026

A free community lantern procession leaves from Hexham Bandstand and travels through Hexham’s streets, with music from Northern Monkey Brass Band.

Presented by Queen’s Hall Arts with support from EGGER, the parade returns to light up Hexham’s streets. It meets at Hexham Bandstand before the procession moves through the town. Northern Monkey Brass Band joins the parade with New Orleans-inspired funk, brass and percussion. No tickets are needed; visitors can simply turn up.
