Jekyll and Hyde - Live to Film
About
FB Pocket Orchestra performs a live score alongside a screening of the 1920 silent film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
FB Pocket Orchestra present a live-to-film performance of their new score for the 1920 silent adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, directed by John S. Robertson and starring John Barrymore. The score draws on works by celebrated western classical composers, arranged for the ensemble's blend of acoustic instruments, synthesisers and electronics. Following their first live-to-film project, Scrooge, the ensemble combines historical repertoire with original composition to accompany the film screening.
