History Talk: Colchester Castle Park

A history talk on Colchester Castle Park, its Green Flag heritage and surprising features, at Minories Central.

The next in The Minories' series of history talks focuses on Colchester Castle Park, which in July 2026 received the Green Flag Award for the 24th consecutive year and retained its Green Heritage Site Accreditation supported by Historic England. Speaker Glyn reveals more of the park's history and some of the interesting and surprising things to be found on a stroll through its landscape. Doors open at 3pm, with the talk starting at 3.30pm and lasting approximately one hour. Note the talk takes place at the venue's new location, Minories Central, at 23 Culver Street West.
