‘Pages of our Lives’
About
A free reminiscence session at Buckingham Library where older adults share memories and create personal scrapbook memory books.
In partnership with Home Instead, Buckingham Library hosts 'Pages of Our Lives', a reminiscence and creative memory project. Participants share memories, stories and experiences through music, photographs, familiar objects, conversation and creative scrapbooking, making personal memory books that preserve individual journeys for future generations. The sessions are open to older adults — local residents living with dementia, Parkinson's, neurological conditions, frailty and memory conditions — and take place on the first Friday of every month. Free places must be registered in advance via the library's website.
