Inspired: A Creative Poetry Workshop

A creative poetry writing workshop led by artists and educators, inspired by the exhibition 'Lessons of the Hour,' which explores Frederick Douglass and themes of Black history.

The workshop is inspired by the exhibition 'Lessons of the Hour,' which explores the life of American abolitionist Frederick Douglass and themes related to Black history and the transatlantic slave trade. Participants will be guided through exercises designed to spark creativity by using the objects, themes, and descriptions from the exhibition.
