A Night at the Opera by Candlelight

London Concertante's candlelit opera concert at Lincoln Cathedral features four soloists and an orchestra performing favourites by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and Bizet.

Four soloists — soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and baritone — perform opera's greatest showstoppers by candlelight, accompanied by a live orchestra. The programme includes arias, duets, trios and quartets from operas such as The Magic Flute, La traviata, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot, Carmen and The Barber of Seville, with highlights including 'Nessun dorma', the 'Habanera', 'Largo al factotum' and 'Soave sia il vento'. The show is run by London Concertante and is pitched at both first-time opera-goers and returning fans.
