Worth Saving - WA Associate Readings
About
A rehearsed reading of Issey Vogel's one-act play Worth Saving, in which two friends face a moral dilemma about helping someone.
Worth Saving is a rehearsed reading staged as part of the Wooden Arrows Associate Readings season, over which associated writers, producers and theatre-makers present new full-length work to gain feedback. Issey Vogel writes and directs this one-act play about two friends facing a moral dilemma with no easy answers, whose friendship is tested as they reconsider what it truly means to help someone. The reading runs about 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 15 and over, with content warnings for discussions of death, mental illness, suicide and euthanasia, and graphic imagery.
