About

The Test Tribe's first Manchester QA meetup features Bill Watson of the BBC on evaluating whether AI-generated UAT test cases are genuinely useful.

The Test Tribe brings its software testing community meetup to Manchester for the first time. Bill Watson, Enterprise IT Acceptance Test Manager at the BBC, presents a case study using a live BBC project to compare AI-generated UAT test cases against human-generated ones. The talk covers defining success metrics, reducing evaluation bias, judging quality by usefulness rather than volume, and turning the approach into a repeatable Proof of Value model for assessing AI testing tools. The evening runs 6–8pm and closes with networking for QA professionals, testers and engineering leaders.
