About

A one-night Christmas opening event at Clayton West with Santa’s arrival by steam train, a light switch-on and one-to-one Cabin visits.

The event runs on Friday 27 November. Visitors may arrive from 15:30 and stay until 19:15; the selected slot is the time for the Santa visit in the Cabin, not a train journey to Shelley. Santa is expected on the platform around 16:00 and the light switch-on is around 17:00. Each child receives a Golden Coin and gift. The evening includes flashing lights and small fireworks. The first visit slot is not included because the property page and booking page publish conflicting times (16:25 and 16:15).
