This solo exhibition brings together a collection of pastel paintings by Sarah Reid inspired by the ever-changing beauty of the Cumbrian coastline. Working with the rich, luminous qualities of pastel, she captures the movement, energy and tranquillity of tidal environments, reflecting a connection to nature and the shifting effects of light, atmosphere and season. The exhibition runs at Shipping Brow Gallery from 23 September to 25 October 2026, open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
