Rachel Davis and Darren McMullan

Award-winning Cape Breton folk duo Rachel Davis and Darren McMullan play their first Montrose concert of traditional and original music.

Rachel Davis (fiddle and vocals) and Darren McMullan (multi-instrumentalist and vocals) from Cape Breton, Canada, bring their duo show to Montrose for the first time. Both also play in the Canadian band Coig, and their set mixes vocals, fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, bouzouki and whistles, blending traditional tunes with original songs. Their latest album, Home, won the 2024 Music Nova Scotia Roots Recording of the Year award and was nominated for Canadian Folk Music and East Coast Music Awards.
