Julien Temple – A Life in Film
About
An exhibition of memorabilia, imagery and film material celebrating the career of filmmaker Julien Temple, marking 25 years of Pandaemonium.
Hestercombe House hosts an exhibition charting the career of director Julien Temple, from his punk-era music videos for the Sex Pistols to rockumentaries, feature films and documentaries. The display brings together memorabilia, imagery and film-related material previously shown at Somerset Film's Engine Room in Bridgwater. It forms part of celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Pandaemonium, Temple's 2001 film about Coleridge and Wordsworth, which was shot across Somerset with a key scene filmed at Hestercombe's Pear Pond in 1999. The exhibition runs during September and October, with separate special screenings of the film listed elsewhere.
