Warning + Semantron
About
Old Empire presents a gig by doom metal band Warning, touring their new album, with support from Semantron at Strange Brew.
Warning, the British doom metal band fronted by Patrick Walker, play a Bristol date as they prepare to release their first new music in twenty years, the album Rituals of Shame on Relapse Records. The band's 2006 album Watching from a Distance has gained a cult following, and Walker has written new material following a transformative period in his life. Support comes from Semantron, the solo project of Yob drummer Dave French, who performs atmospheric pieces solo with guitar, foot synth and looped and sampled percussion. The event runs 7pm to 10:30pm and is for ages 14 and over, with under-18s accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
