Digital Worlds, Alternative Futures: Kinnari Saraiya, Skawennati and Wendi Yan

An afternoon of artist talks and a live performance exploring how digital tools can reimagine cultural heritage, identity and alternative futures.

Hosted by Pita Arreola as part of the SLIPSTREAM exhibition, the afternoon features talks by Kinnari Saraiya on her interactive installation In the Eye of a Dream and Wendi Yan on her film Dream of Walnut Palaces, alongside a live presentation by Skawennati of her Second Life project Aboriginal Territories in Cyberspace Island. Each artist discusses the research and creative processes behind works spanning digital storytelling, AI-assisted 3D modelling and virtual worlds. Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition beforehand, which opens at 12pm.
