About

A three-hour festive wreath-making workshop with About The Trees, foraging natural materials in the grounds of Glassmount House before weaving a wreath in the bothy.

Participants join a guided walk through the gardens and wooded areas of Glassmount House with secateurs and a trug bucket to forage holly, ivy, box, yew, teasels, honesty and rose berries. Back in the bothy, wreath frames woven from fresh local willow are either made by hand or provided, and attendees create a wreath to take home. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available, and the workshop is suitable for ages 14+, with under-18s accompanied by a paying adult.
