Theatr Gwaun screens a live broadcast of The Royal Opera's new production of Mozart's Così Fan Tutte, directed by Netia Jones. Spurred on by a bet, two young men test the fidelity of their girlfriends in a game of seduction and shifting reality, blending 18th-century romantic trickery with satirical high-tech deceit. The young cast is led by Louise Alder, Simone McIntosh, Mingjie Lei and Huw Montague Rendall, with Gerald Finley as Don Alfonso and Emily Pogorelc as Despina, and Thomas Hengelbrock conducting. Sung in Italian with English subtitles, with an approximate runtime of 3 hours 30 minutes including one interval.
