A Concert for Children: Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf

A family concert of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf performed by a wind quintet with narrator and puppets at Hay Castle Hall.

The Solstice Collective Wind Quintet performs Prokofiev's 1936 musical tale Peter and the Wolf, with narrator Felix Ashley telling the folk story while each character is represented by a different instrument. The hour-long performance is enhanced by puppets specially commissioned for the event, operated by Jodie Yates and Eve Wilson. The quintet comprises graduates of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
