Stephanie Sandercock | Winds of Change

This exhibition features paintings, textured surfaces, and suspended forms exploring transformation, memory, and the elemental landscape of West Cornwall.

The works are rooted in the natural world, exploring processes of building, revealing, and erosion, inspired by weathered rock formations and shifting landscapes. Many paintings are built through layers of plaster, pigment, mica, silver, and gold. A recurring motif involves suspended fragments of thought, which draw inspiration from the tradition of the cloutie tree.
