West End Winter Lantern Festival

A free community festival beginning with music at More Music, followed by a lantern procession through Morecambe’s West End and a closing performance outside More Music.

The West End Winter Lantern Festival is a community celebration with live music, light projections and dance. The evening begins at More Music at 16:00. A procession led by Baybeat Streetband leaves More Music at 18:00, weaving through the streets with lanterns made by local people before a performance outside More Music in collaboration with Cacophany Arkestra. The published listing does not give a street-by-street route or an overall finish time. Everyone is invited and the event is free.
