Christmas at Cheddar

A festive family experience at Cheddar Gorge & Caves featuring a Father Christmas grotto in Gough's Cave and an elves' workshop, running from 21 November to 24 December 2026.

Christmas at Cheddar is a festive experience held in Gough's Cave at Cheddar Gorge & Caves, running on weekends from 21 November and daily from 19–24 December 2026. The Father Christmas Grotto Experience is a roughly 30-minute show with seven sessions a day, where families meet Father Christmas and his elves, sing festive songs, hear a Christmas story and receive a gift; pre-booking is essential and a separate ticket applies. The South West Workshop, included with a Day Ticket, lets visitors watch elves sorting letters, making toys and preparing the sleigh, alongside the site's five attractions: Gough's Cave, Yeo's Journey in Cox's Cave, the Museum of Prehistory, Beyond the View cinema, and Jacob's Ladder with the Lookout Tower and Cliff-Top Walk. Dogs are welcome.
