FBF: Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo talks about his memoir Down Burrow Lane, the story of fifty years of life, love and farming in Devon.

As part of the Falmouth Book Festival, Michael Morpurgo discusses his memoir Down Burrow Lane, which recounts the fifty years since he and his wife Clare left London for a remote Devon farm. The book traces how the farm inspired much-loved works such as War Horse and Private Peaceful, and how the couple's charity Farms for City Children welcomed over 100,000 children to experience the countryside. The event takes place at Princess Pavilion.
