Arnolfini bookshop presents: Stephen Ellcock
About
Stephen Ellcock discusses his new book Ark, a curated visual celebration of the natural world, with writer Jade Angeles Fitton.
Author and archivist Stephen Ellcock talks about Ark, his new Thames and Hudson book curating more than 450 images of living wonders from all five kingdoms of nature, drawn from a broad range of cultures and eras. The book includes essays by Sarah Perry, Harriet Rix, Helen Scales and Stephen Moss, with a foreword by Robert Macfarlane, and explores the relationships sustaining nature's realms of earth, water and air alongside the threats of climate change. Ellcock will be in conversation with writer Jade Angeles Fitton, and copies of the book will be available to buy at the event.
